Hi,
I’ve downloaded and installed the latest 4GB firmware image (from the FTP site), but I have a recurring problem with it. Every time it starts up, I get the following error message: “Failed to load settings” and I have to press Enter to continue. Any previously configured settings, including WiFi, are then lost and I have to reconfigure, reconnect to WiFi etc.
I’ve tried reinstalling the image a couple of times and starting up initially without the Edimax WiFi dongle attached, but I still get the error message.
I don’t know if it’s related, but when I select the Information menu, the brick hangs and has to be switched off and on again.
I hope you can help me and tell me where I’m going wrong!
